About the Coffee
Farming
The coffee you enjoy each day has taken a long journey to arrive in your cup. Between the time they’re planted, picked, and purchased, coffee beans go through a typical series of steps to bring out their best.
10 Steps from Seed to Cup
- Planting
- Harvesting the Cherries
- Processing the Cherries
- Drying the Beans
- Milling the Beans
- Exporting the Beans
- Tasting the Coffee
- Roasting the Coffee
- Grinding Coffee
- Brewing Coffee
Roasting
It takes years of training to become an expert roaster with the ability to “read” the beans and make decisions with split-second timing. The difference between perfectly roasted coffee and a ruined batch can be a matter of seconds. Roasting is both an art and a science.

If you love the taste of great coffee, you may be interested in Jusans Peru Coffee. This Organic coffee is offered at a reasonable price and comes in a nutty medium roast.
Neither bitter nor oily, this low-acidity coffee has a smooth, mild flavor. It’s not the most exciting or complex coffee that we tested. but it is reasonably flavorful and has a good aroma.
Two things contribute to the unparalleled taste of Peru coffee.
- it is organically grown since 1700 AD and the technique that the farmers use has been handed over by word of mouth from generation to generation.
- there is no interference yet from modern technology on any of the 110 thousand coffee farms in Peru
The combined effect of these two factors is that the Jusan organic Peru coffee has a remarkable taste the sickness of which no one has yet been able to copy.
